TESK Chairman visited the tradesmen's chambers union in Gaziantep from Palandöken.

TESK Chairman visited the tradesmen's chambers union in Gaziantep from Palandöken.

Explaining that Gaziantep is an exemplary city to the world, Palandöken said, "Gaziantep is a brand city that is self-sufficient and can set an example for other cities. Tradesmen and craftsmen have had and continue to have difficult times during the pandemic process. Tradesmen always believe in the unity of the state, the government, governments and people." "And wherever we live together, we have been together for 900 years. Thank God, whether our business is bad or good. We are a nation that is generous enough to say, 'Today I have made a vow, go to the neighbor next to me.'" Stating that the number of chain markets is increasing day by day, Palandöken said, "I cannot pronounce the number of chain markets in Gaziantep. They almost compete with local tradesmen. What benefit do they have for us? Let them open and trade, but they should abide by the rules. They are open seven days a week. They open with us in the morning, "They close it after us at night. Is there any example of this in the world? They have private areas and parking lots. So what do they do to Gaziantep? They take what is produced in Gaziantep to Istanbul, brand it there and bring it back here." he said.

During the visit, İsmet Özcan, President of Gaziantep Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, presented various gifts to Palandöken in memory of the day.
